1988 RX-7 GXL
Up for consignment sale is this clean example of an FC Mazda RX-7. This car has a little history here at JDML, as it is owned by our website designer. Some of the work has been done here over the last year. He is the 2nd owner and this car shows it.
Original OEM features of the car include leather seats, power windows, power door locks, Mazda security alarm system, 5 lug wheels, louvers, cruise control, AC, and a power sun roof.
The modifications and upgrades are as follows. S5 tail lights, KOYO radiator, duckbill spoiler, BC coil-overs (the OEM working electronic suspension can be included with the car), ceramic window tint, fuel cut off switch, short shifter and a stage 2 clutch
Here is some more information from the owner:
The entire S4 13B rotary engine was rebuilt professionally about 5,000 miles ago. The OMP was deleted so premix must be run with each gas tank fill up. Engine is on competition motor mounts, so lower RPMs idle a bit harder. Putting it back on stock motor mounts would probably be the first thing I would do if I was buying it. Runs perfectly, very high compression for the age, just went on a 1,800 mile round trip to Portland and back just fine. AC blows cold, car handles great. It is a 31 year old car so it does have its quirks, mostly cosmetic blemishes and electrical issues that don't effect the overall operation of the car.
Car is sold as is with a clean title. Extra work can be added on the sales invoice if you wish JDM Legends to make any changes.
